Mark Thomas Franks Sr., age 60 of Tipp City, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 in his residence. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 14, 1953 the son of Corporal & Christine (Triplett) Franks. He was retired from the Carpenter''s Union Local #104. He loved horses, going to cattle auctions and buying and selling livestock.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Pam A. (Randolph) Franks, son Mark (Sarah) Franks Jr., granddaughter Olivia "Popeye" Jones, a brother David (Linda) Franks, 2 sisters Sandra (James) Dillon and Shelia (Ronald) Sumner, numerous nieces and nephews and special cousins Bo & Susan Franks and Scooter Franks all of Texas, and a very close childhood friend David Robbins of Carlisle.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends for a visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 pm on Friday, November 29, 2013 in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. with a memorial service at 2:00 pm.
