Marsha Karen (Black) Rogers, age 63, of Noblesville, Indiana and formerly of Fenton, Michigan, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 3, 1955 to her parents, Walter & Janette (Chester) Black. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Donnie Black. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenny Rogers; son Kenneth (Brynne) Rogers Jr.; daughter April (Jason) McLaughlin; niece Babe Black and nephew Donnie Black; and grandchildren Triton Rogers, Marlee Rogers, and Isla McLaughlin.

Marsha loved her family fiercely and was a trustworthy confidant. She invested her whole self in her family, giving generously of her time and talents. She was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. Her warm, caring spirit made those around her feel important and welcome. She had an innate ability to meet a person where they were on their life's journey and give them the support they needed. Marsha was always ready with a hug, a shoulder to cry on, and an encouraging word. Her smile could light up a room and put everyone at ease.

Marsha was active in the Fenton High School Band Boosters and as a Girl Scout Leader for many years. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City, Ohio. A funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com .
