Mary Elizabeth (Baird) Trader, age 86 of Dayton, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at Riverside Healthcare Center, Dayton. She was born in Jelico, Tennessee on May 27, 1929 the daughter of Phelan & Florence (Posey) Pennington. She was a member of the Greenview Calvary Tabernacle, Dayton.

She is survived by her 3 children Edward (Christy) Baird of Englewood, Jeffrey (Laura) Baird of Tipp City and Jerry Baird of Tipp City, 8 grandchildren Jeff, Angela, Allen, Hannah, Brian, Nikki, Melanie and Bobbi, 12 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a brother Clifford (Brenda) Pennington, sister-in-law Katherine Pennington and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands William Darrell Baird and Art Trader, daughter Janice Baird, brothers Howard and Homer Pennington and sisters Irene Perkins and Roxy Pennington.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm in the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Tony Casada officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
