Mary Dunkle, age 87 of Dayton, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012. She was born in Middleton, Ohio on April 15, 1925 the daughter of Samuel & Gertrude (Balger) Cooper. She was a member of the Valley Temple Church of God.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws Lucinda M. & Donald Runyon, Pamela S. & William B. Brooks, and Sharon A. Wilson, sons and daughter-in-law John L. Dunkle and Samuel E. & Sonja Dunkle, daughter-in-laws Pauline Dunkle and Betty Dunkle, 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband John L. Dunkle Sr., son David E. Dunkle, son-in-law Lawrence Wilson, 4 brothers Bob cooper, Ralph Cooper, John "Jack" Cooper and Charlie Cooper, and 3 sisters Ruth Tony, Dorothy Judd and Winnie Skyler.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Russ Terrell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
