Mildred Erma Buirley, age 85 of Tipp City passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011 in Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 11, 1925 the daughter of Fredrick J. & Edith M. (West) Kretzler. She worked the office at the Miami County Courthouse and Hobart Manufacturing in Troy. She was a member of the Tipp City Eastern Star #307 and the Troy Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years Glenn Gordon Buirley, son Daniel Buirley (Millicent), daughter Katherine Oldham (Donald), granddaughter Christina McCulloch, 3 great grandchildren Josh, Joey, and Jessica, and a brother Fred J. Kretzler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Carl Kretzler.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City with Pastor Dr. Richard Culp officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
