Obituary
Nell Henson, age 89 of Yellow Springs, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 in Friends Care Community, Yellow Springs. She was born in Cullman, Alabama on August 3, 1924 the daughter of Robert Lee & Georgia Lena (Alvis) Hudson.
She is survived by her 3 children James Jerry (Helen) Henson, Geraldine (Terry) Jackson, and Joel Ellis (Mary Jane) Henson, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Wesley Henson, and 14 brothers and sisters.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Blessing Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Tom Knauff officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Nell''s memory to a Hospice Organization of your choice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.
