Nicholas Lyndon Saltzman Jr., age 71 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Sycamore Hospital. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 2, 1949 the son of Nicholas L. & Shirley I. (Gillen) Saltzman.

He is survived by Betty Ellison; children Nicholas (Melissa) Saltzman III, Stefani (Josh) Schiebrel and Jerry Ellison; grandchildren Bryce Saltzman, Nicholas Saltzman IV, Ava Jean Saltzman, Tyler (Emma) Vanhoose, Katelyn Vanhoose, Ayden Schiebrel, Crystal (Billy) Whiteman, Jason (Tabby) Ellison, Jeremy (Emma) Ellison and Cory (Desira) Ellison; 18 great grandchildren and a brother Jim (Jane) Saltzman.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
