Obituary

Opal "Bud" Faye (Mills) Terebinski, age 80 of Troy, Elizabeth Twp. passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee on June 10, 1931 the daughter of James Arvel & Rettie Ruth (Teague) Mills. She was the former owner of Terebinski Funeral Home, Forest Hills Memorial Gardens and West Memory Gardens. Opal was very active in many community activities and charities throughout her lifetime.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Stanley A. Terebinski, children Theresa (Wayne) Terebinski-Wissinger, Michael Terebinski, and James "Jamie" (Laura) Terebinski, 7 grandchildren Cory (Katie) Bach, Molly Terebinski-Lemp, Amanda (Erik) Fine, Joshua (Sarah) Terebinski, Michelle Terebinski, Zachary (Melissa) Francis, and Vincent (Timarie) Francis, 7 great grandchildren Austin Francis, Allison Bach, Ethan Fine, Reaghan Lemp, Zane Lemp, Spencer Bach, and Alek Fine, sister Shirley (John) Porritt, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a thank you to a special caregiver Linda Garrigan for her care given to Opal over the past few years. They would also like to thank Dr. Bob McConnell and the entire staff of Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center for their care and compassion given to Opal and the entire family during this difficult time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving daughter and son-in-law, Lana Marie Terebinski-Bach and Michael Bach, and a brother James "Jim" Mills.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 5-8 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, formerly known as Terebinski Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd. Vandalia. If desired memorial contributions may be made in Opal''s memory to Cornerstone Campaign at St. Christopher Church, 435 E. National Rd. Vandalia, Ohio 45377.
