Ora Mae McGinnis, age 74 of Georgia and formerly of Dayton went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2011 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She was born on December 13, 1936 in Berea, Kentucky the daughter of McKinley & Bertha (Huff) VanWinkle.
She is survived by her daughters Cheryl (Kent) Seigel and Kathleen (Ronald) Muller, grandchildren Emily (Richard) Nelson, Gregory (Brittany) Seigel, Erika (Anthony) Bayne, Kayleigh (Jordan) Jacob, Aaron Stover, Ryan Muller, and Kyle Muller, numerous great grandchildren, brother David VanWinkle, sisters Betty (Claude) Owens and Emma (Al) Chambers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman Cecil McGinnis, grandson Nathan Clark Muller, brothers Virgil "Pic", Grover, Luther, Hank, and Johnny, and a sister Elizabeth "Lee".
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Siler officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
