Paul Davis, age 78 of Troy, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Hospice of Miami County. He was born on December 17, 1944 in Byington, Ohio the son of Ira & Lydia (Watts) Davis. He worked at A.O. Smith for 30 years retiring in 1997 then worked for Navistar for 10 years then for the next 10 years he drove truck for Werner Enterprises. He was a member of the Troy Fish & Game. He loved old cars and car shows, motorcycles, going fishing, going to flea markets and he loved to travel and see new places.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Laura (Rhoades) Davis; children James (Roshell) Davis, Mark (Gayle) Davis, Daniel Davis, Adam (Amanda) Davis, Scott Bloomfield, Edward Bloomfield and James (Tammy) Bloomfield; grandchildren Carmen (Cody) Alliss, Brittney (Levi) Cornett, Zach Davis, Avery Davis, Adysen Davis, Scott Anthony Bloomfield, Ashley Bloomfield, Jenna Bloomfield, Brie Bloomfield, Cody Bloomfield, Dakota Vanchure, Amber (Garrett) VanWinkle and Kayleigh Bloomfield; 7 great grandchildren; sisters Blanche Corsaw and his twin sister Pauline (Roger) Riege; brother Kenny Davis and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter Nicole Bloomfield; brothers Sherman, Raymond, Argie, Clyde and Donald Davis. He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
