Paul E. King, age 84 of Union passed away Friday, May 20, 2011. He was born in Brookville, Ohio on April 17, 1927 the son of Joseph & Margaret H. (Ruebush) King. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force where he served in World War II. He retired from NCR and he enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and Cincinnati Reds baseball.
He is survived by his children Lonnie King, Sandra King, Cynthia (Will) Boggs, Michael (Cheryl) King, and Kevin (Pam) King, step children Karen Woolum, Gillis (Sue) Woolum, William "Art" (Karen) Woolum, grandchildren Melanie, Stephanie, Paul, Wyatt, Crystal, Fawn, James, Felicia, Jason, Doug, Matt N., Matt G., Josh, Mark, Lauren, and Joe, great grandchildren, Sara, Sydney, James, Ashlyn, Stevie, Alex, and Sophia, brother Donald (Shirley) King, sister Marilyn McCurdy, sister-in-law Charlotte King, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Eileen in October 2010, step son Robert Woolum, grandson Steve King, brother Charles King, and brother-in-law Joe McCurdy.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Forrest Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
