Phyllis Borchardt, age 80 of Tipp City and formerly of Joliet, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born in Casper, Wyoming on July 27, 1938 the daughter of George & Martha (Harmes) Niles. She retired from teaching English for 25 years at Dirksen Jr. High School, Joliet, Illinois.

She is survived by her children Kathryn E. (Joseph) Regelski of Tipp City and David R. Borchardt (Mary) of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren Matthew D. (Alleyce) Moreland of Miamisburg, Andrea M. Regelski of Tipp City, Matthew L (Molly) Miniard of Houston, TX, and Michael D. Borchardt of Corpus Christi, TX; great grandchildren Gabriel and Emery; and a sister Kathryn (Donald) Schober of Yarmounth, MA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Blessing-Zerkle Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City.
