Phyllis Carolyn Slife, age 75 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on January 3, 1939 the daughter of Austin & Mildred (Hart) Ginter. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Louis Slife, daughter Julie (Mike) Huddleson, son Scott (Briana) Slife, 7 grandchildren Megan Huddleson, Nicholas Huddleson, Trinity Slife, Madison Slife, Austin Slife, Aryana Slife, and Elena Slife, 2 brothers Bill (Betty) Ginter, Dan (Lynell) Ginter, sister-in-law Marie Brock, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Gary Slife, and a sister Diana Ginter. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor George Gnade officiating. Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton.
