Obituary
Richard C. Artz, age 85 of Vandalia passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 in Vandalia Park Nursing Home. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 19, 1924 the son of Ralph and Freda (Klenk) Artz. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II.
He is survived by his son Steven Artz, sister Phyllis Pulfer, brother Charles Swartz, cousins Charlotte McGill, Barbara Wourms, Butch Klenk and Mary Fessler, and several other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Ruth Artz.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City with full military honors.
He is survived by his son Steven Artz, sister Phyllis Pulfer, brother Charles Swartz, cousins Charlotte McGill, Barbara Wourms, Butch Klenk and Mary Fessler, and several other family members.
