Rick Simpkins, age 63 of Dayton went to his reward on the morning of January 23, 2025. He was born in Dayton on August 3, 1961 the son of Joseph Harold & Laura Mae (Longstreath) Simpkins.

He leaves to grieve his wife of 36 years Ruby Simpkins; daughters Amanda (Shane) Robinette and Courtney (Chris) Blair; his pride and joy grandchildren Theodore Blair and Serenity Robinette; special niece Patricia (Ralph) Murph; and sister-in-law Esther Zuern.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; daughter Rebecca Sarah Simpkins and niece Rhonda Cooley. You will be missed Ricky boy as you walk those Golden Streets.
