Rita Jayne Bracy, age 77 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Troy, Ohio on March 31, 1945 the daughter of Clifford & Doris (Pennock) Matthews.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Mike) Sibert of Kettering; granddaughters Kristen (Nathan) McKinney and Brianna (Keaton) Pfeiffer both of Tipp City; great grandsons Carter and Axle McKinney and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 51 years, Richard C. Bracy in 2020; brother John Matthews and sisters Margo Matthews and Kay Lawson.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Rita's memory to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
