Sharon Rose Riley, age 68 of New Carlisle passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 in Kettering Medical Center. She was born in Scioto Furnace, Ohio on January 26, 1943 the daughter of Orville C. and Estella (Crisp) Bartee. She was a member of the Riverside Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter Tami (Dean) Valentine and their children Jonathon Valentine and April (Mike) Smith, her son Darren Paul Sr. and his children Darren Paul Jr. and Conner Paul, her daughter-in-law Amy Paul, her great grandchildren Alexis Rose Franks and Gracelynn Pearl Smith, a brother Orville C. (Judy) Bartee, sisters Betty Best, Eloise (Herman) Howard, Pamela (Don) VanZant, and Deborah (Dave) Burke, nieces Dana (Rob) Graham and Estella (Kevin) Hutchinson and grandchildren Amanda, Leslie, Sara, Bryan, and Kyle and many other special nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hobert, brothers Eugene, Paul and James Bartee, and a sister Phyllis Walters.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 5-8 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
