Stephen Charles Bertram, age 72 of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton. He was born in Greenville, Ohio on December 8, 1943 the son of Bernard & Mildred (Dennison) Bertram. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and loved to work in his garden. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon Kay (Neeley) Bertram, children Lisa Carol Porter (R.C. Sproul Jr.) and Christopher Shawn (Nicole) Bertram, 6 grandchildren Jessica Ross, Sarah Kelley, Heather Broyles, Jordan Ringel, Abigail Bertram and Haddon Bertram and 4 great grandchildren McKenna, Eliana, Chloe and Logan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2106 at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.
