Steven Conrad Hurt, age 70, passed peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Okaloosa County, Florida, the son of Conrad Shilling & Joan Sue (Workman) Hurt. Steven will be remembered by those who knew and loved him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family.

He is survived by his sister, Sharon (Jim) Pence; his niece, Jennifer (Michael) Stoner; and his nephews, Larry (Michelle) Hurt Jr., Samuel Pence, and Lukus (Maranda) Pence; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Megan, Connor, Stella, Gemma, and Jacob.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Larry Hurt.

Per Steven wishes, he will be cremated and buried with his parents and brother at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Services have been entrusted to the Zerkle Funeral Home, Tipp City. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Steven's memory by donating new clothing to a local nursing home or simply enjoying a Pepsi in his honor.
