Tommy Gene Hoskins, age 86 of West Milton, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Millstone, Kentucky on March 6, 1940, the son of Cledis & Josephine (Hall) Hoskins. He worked at Chrysler in Dayton for over 30 years and retired in 1993.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Opal (Howard) Hoskins; children Dwana (Ken) Ferguson, Deanna (Bruce) Elleman, Debbie Mantle, Tonya (Jerry) Ross and Tommy (Christi) Hoskins; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister Lena Ann Fields-Stanford and several other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Cory Wendel officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
