Victor Norman Vance, age 92 of Tipp City passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, at Randall Residence, Tipp City. He was born in Frederick, Ohio on September 24, 1932 the son of Curtis & Lyda (Penny) Vance. He was a graduate of Vandalia Butler High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired in 1997 after working for over 30 years at A.O. Smith in Tipp City where he had perfect attendance for many of those years.

He is survived by his children Vicki (Steve) Arnett, Rita (Steve) Kinzig, and Gordon (Maggie) Vance; 8 grandchildren Brian (Erica) Arnett, Brent (Mandy) Arnett, Stephanie (Mark Bruner) Dixon, Ash (Holly) Sweet, Adrienne (Seth) Kettel, Dustin Vance, Veronica (Matt) Beisner, and Andrew (Desiree) Vance, 19 great grandchildren Emma, Mallory, Cody, & Ellie Arnett, Jenna, Rylee & Lukas Dixon, Elijah, Reagan, Samuel, Jacob & Noah Kettel, Maguire Mcintosh, Ashton & Katelyn Beisner, and Brayden & Graham Vance, and Sydni & Wes Bruner; special nephew Marty Vance and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 59 years Georgia Vance in 2015; brothers Carl, Earl, John, Donald, Curtis, Dean and Robert Vance; and sisters Dorothy Rhoades, Mary Vance, Patricia North and Pauline Barefoot.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 12:00 pm a the funeral home with Pastor Scott Deane officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
