Violet R. Crowe, age 78 of Dayton passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in Wright Nursing and Rehab, Fairborn. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 14, 1932 the daughter of Walter & Maude (Hiffmeyer) Crawford.
Violet left this life to be with her heavenly father and all the loved ones that went before her, especially her loving husband Dewey Crowe of 46 years and her best friend and daughter Brenda L. Crowe.
She leaves behind many friends and family, her children and grandchildren she loves deeply. Her children, sons Kenneth R. (Vickie) Crowe, Mart E. (Regina) Crowe, George F. (Sandra) Crowe, daughters Victoria L. Crowe, Pamela S. (Jack) Hall, and Linda K. Horn. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren and their spouses and 13 great grandchildren who all loved her dearly. Violet''s family would like to give a heart filled thanks and gratitude for the fantastic care and support from Acclaim Hospice, and the caring staff at Wright Nursing and Rehabilitation.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 5-8 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Violet''s memory to Acclaim Hospice, 7887 Washington Village Dr. Suite 350 Dayton, Ohio 45439.
