Virginia Ann Walk, age 84 of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in New Paris, Ohio surrounded by her family on Friday, April 25, 2025. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 25, 1940, the daughter of James Grant & Goldie Elizabeth (Parker) Shearer. She loved to garden, travel, cook and gamble.

She is survived by her children Linda Cook, Katherine (Brian) Dailey and James (Marie) Walk; grandchildren Alicia Caldwell, Morgan (Ashley) Terry, Krysta (Ben) Cavin, Michelle Underwood, Michael Walk, Joshua Walk and Georgia Walk; great grandchildren Avery Crabtree, Reese (Josh) Engberg, Mikael Mills, Lucas Mills and Hayden Underwood, Alivia Cavin, Kennedy Cavin and Etta Cavin; great-great grandchildren Mark Engberg and Eziah Stovall; sisters Patricia Pirtle, Joan (Chris) Bush, Marilyn (Paul) Abrams and Debbie (Charles) Iannarelli; a cousin Richard Parker and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Per her wishes she will be cremated. Services have been entrusted to the Zerkle Funeral Home, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.
