Warren Eugene Ratliff, age 89 of Englewood, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 Brookdale Assisted Living Englewood. He was born in West Middletown, Ohio on August 17, 1922 the son of Roy L. & Stella (Trimble) Ratliff.

Warren was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps as a cryptographer, he served in England, Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe, and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #707 of Englewood. He was a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Dayton, and Master Mason where he was a member of Jefferson Lodge #90 of Middletown, Ohio. He was a prior member of Englewood Village and City Council, and Board of Zoning Appeals. He retired from NCR. Warren was a locally well known musician and music teacher.

He is survived by his children Rae Gene (John) Sevcik of Chicago, IL., Rili Ann Ratliff of Dallas, TX., and Robert Eugene (Margee) of Las Vegas, NV, and a grandson Specialist Bret Warren Ratliff of Ft. Drum, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 56 years Rachel Fay Ratliff.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 11:00 am at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Services have been entrusted to the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, Tipp City. Condolences may be shared with the family through this online guestbook.
