Obituary

Willard Truman, age 78 of Trotwood, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton. He was born in Jamestown, Ohio on March 22, 1935 the son of Ernest & Ethel (Allen) Truman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Vandalia.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Clara Mae (Floyd) Truman, 3 children Terry Roberts, Anita Murphy and Kirby Roberts, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, his twin brother Wilbur Truman, brother Ernie Collins, 2 sisters Mary Louise Turley and Marjorie Kyle, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Everett Truman, and 2 sisters Jenny Sizemore and Ruby Creekbaum.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Blessing Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.
