April 20, 1925 – June 1, 2024
William Samuel Fuller, age 99, passed away at Riverside Hospital on June 1, 2024. Bill was born in Delaware, Ohio on April 20, 1925, the son of Harold and Lena Slack Fuller. The family moved to Grandview, Ohio where he graduated and met his future wife, Joann Tremain. They were married 73 years. Bill joined the army air force following graduation where he flew B17s and B-25s. Following the war Bill attended The Ohio State University graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering. At O.S.U. He joined the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Following college, he worked for H.J. Fuller and Sons as a weighing and measurement Engineer where he designed scale systems and managed the family business. Bill was elected president of the National Scale Men's Association during his career. He belonged to the Columbus Rotary and OSU presidents club. His interest in flying continued as he continued flying small planes.
Bill is survived by his daughter Cynthia (Dennis) Molina; 3 grandchildren Jim (Marni) Molina, John Molina, and Angela (Nate) Riley and 6 great grandchildren, Jacob, Joe, Jessica, Anthony, Colton and Julia. Papa will be missed by all of us.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joann and his brother
Jack and wife (Dottie).
A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Delaware. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zerkle Funeral Home, Tipp City, Ohio. Condolences may be sent to the family through this online guest book.
