Obituary

William Paul (Bill) Jamison, Jr., age 79 of Kettering, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at Grandview Hospital. He was born in West Virginia on October 22, 1933 the son of William Paul Jamison Sr. and Gladys Bessie (Meadows) Jamison. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne during the Korean War. He retired from Dayton Reliable Tool. He was an member of the Kettering Banjo Society, Shamrock Club, and numerous American Legion and VFW posts.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Geraldine Jamison; two children Paul and William (Pete) Jamison; two grandchildren Steve Jamison and Michelle Krick; two great grandchildren Jallyse and Aaron Krick; two sisters Sue Riley (Kenneth) and Jane Philbeck (Daniel) and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, JoAnn Gibbs (Buddy) and Nancy Jamison.

A small, private viewing was held Saturday, April 27th for immediate family. He will be cremated and laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Flowers and contributions are not requested. Condolences may be made to the family here. Services entrusted to the Blessing Funeral Home, Tipp City.
