William Hagar Little of Dayton passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital at the age of 99. He was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on December 24, 1926, the son of Asa Nelson & Lula Alice (Elkins) Little. He was a brick mason in the Dayton area for over 60 years; his work was his passion. In his younger years, he enjoyed many friendships as a member of the Masonic Lodge and the New Carlisle Sportsman's Club. He and his wife, Judy, were foster parents to over 30 children throughout their younger years.

He is survived by his daughters Juanita Anderson and Judith Lee "Jodi" (Gary) DiCenzo, daughter-in-law Josephine "Jo" Little; grandchildren Christine (Jim) Ward, Jackie (Jimmy) Gregg, James (Helen) Anderson and Jack DiCenzo; great grandchildren Amber Little, JC (Madison) Ward, Jennifer Gregg, Amanda (Brandon) Jaramillo, Brianna Anderson, Tori (Storm) Stringer, Courtney Davis, several great great grandchildren and several nieces, a nephew, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Judith Kathleen (Scanlon) Little, son Jack Little, brother James Little and his wife and children, sister Alene Carson and her husband and sons. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.
